The Podcast

We all work. Many of us, however, have not explored a theology of work. That is, the way that our identity in Christ plays out in all of the work we do. A Theology of Hustle seeks to explore work through the lens of God’s kingdom.

A Theology of Hustle is about how people use their work for God’s kingdom. The way God uses our circumstance and skills to craft holy work for our hands is just incredible. This podcast explores stories and shows the ways God uses each of us to do incredible work in this world.

I hope that these stories elicit a range of emotions. Some of these stories are happy, some are sad, some are hopeful, and all of them show the hand of God on the people he loves.

About Me

Name: Currey Blandford
Age: 38 years
Church: Life Church
Location: Warrenville, IL Hometown: Amarillo, TX
Occupations: Husband, Dad (x3), Pastor, Entrepreneur, Podcaster, Wakeboarder (still thinking I can go pro)
I am sure I misuse the word, but I consider myself a nerd. By that I mean that whatever I do, I throw myself headlong into doing it. I have found over the years that there are some disadvantages to living like that. But I have found more advantages. I find myself doing all sorts of interesting, engaging work. And whether it is pastoring a church or working at a farm—both things I’m doing right now—God will use anything I do for his glory. Through this, I have come to believe that only a fraction of ministry in this world is done by vocational pastors. Ministry is done by every Christ follower every day as they go to work and walk out their calling. Showing people how the Holy Spirit wants to use them in all ways is my passion, through preaching, speaking, discipling, podcasting, and whatever opportunities come my way.

There are a lot of ways to contact me if you are looking for that sort of thing. You can always find me on social media. I’ll leave my instagram feed here so you can follow and DM me. (You can use Facebook if necessary, I just don’t check it as often). You can also email me through the contact form above. I am always excited to talk and hear about you. I however, only have theological debates in person over a glass of single malt scotch that you buy. So if you are interested in that please let me know. I like my scotch Islay and neat.
