Description:
This isn’t a normal A Theology of Hustle episode—it’s something a little different. I wanted to share a recent sermon that I think speaks directly to many of our struggles with faith, doubt, and community.
Few things cut as deeply as being let down by other Christians. In this message, I wrestle with why it hurts so much, how Jesus himself experienced betrayal and abandonment, and what it means for us when the church doesn’t live up to what it’s supposed to be.
We’ll talk about:
-
Why Christians sometimes hurt one another
-
How Jesus understands our pain and grief
-
The role of doubt in spiritual growth
-
Finding hope in the God who suffers with us
If you’ve ever felt wounded by the church or struggled with disappointment in your faith community, I pray this message will meet you right where you are.
