Tamekia and Ryan | Styles 4 Kidz

[ep 44] This interview with Tamekia and Ryan Swint is so good. We have met at a few adoption conferences, and I knew I had to have them on the podcast. They have an organization called Styles 4 Kidz. It is a non-profit specializing in haircare education for trans-racially adopted children, biracial, and kids living in group homes/foster care. I think this work is really important. Tamekia has more than 20 years experience in the natural hair care industry. She is passionate about helping parents feel confident with hair styling, boosting kids’ self-esteem, and being sensitive to the unique needs of transracial adoptive families.
