Revelation and Work 4 | The Harlot of Babylon

[ep 148] Today we are talking Revelation 17-18 and the Harlot of Babylon. Many times it can seem like Revelation has no practical implications for us. I think today I really show how easy it can be to apply a book like Revelation to our everyday lives. The Harlot of Babylon has a lot to teach us about the ways we sell out to the world. Many times we have no idea how much we sacrifice on the altar of a good economy. Our entire system has been set up to dehumanize the process of consumption. This has profound effects on the way we consume and we need to be thinking about that. This deals with how we buy but also how and where we work. There is a lot to talk about here.
