Revelation and Work 2 | The Throneroom Scene
Loading
/
[ep 146] Last week we introduced the concept of work and talked about the genre of Revelation. I hope you go back and check out that episode. This week we are talking about the throneroom scene from chapters 4-5. This is the foundation for the rest of the book of Revelation. God on the throne is the central concept of this whole book and a lens for interpreting the rest of the book. There is so much to learn from sections like these just about the concept of kingdom and the importance of seeing the world thee way it ought to be seen.

This week we are talking about the concept of the kingdom of God and how we can work in light of that kingdom. We talk about the lamb that was slain in chapter 4 and how that plays out into the way that the kingdom is formed in our lives. In these confusing and disjointed times, it is the kingdom of God that holds any sort of truth whatsoever. We can hope in this kingdom even when what we see is only chaos.
